Today we are starting to look at the story of 'The Gunpowder Plot'.

Task: Write a letter from Robert Catesby to the rest of the plotters explaining the plan to blow up Parliament. It should include what they plan to do and why they want to blow up Parliament.


Challenge: Do you think Robert Catesby and the plotters were right to challenge the King and Parliament? Explain your answer.
