  • Catholic Cluster Athletics Competition

    On 18th May, 15 children from KS2 participated in the Catholic Cluster Athletics Competition. The events consisted of the Long jump, high jump, throw, 800m, Sprint and Relay.They all performed to the best of their ability and produced some amazing results.

    We came 1st in the following: Harvey S – High Jump
    Ryan – 60m Sprint
    Dylan M-800m
    Cerys,Annabelle,Stephanie and Aine - Girls Relay

    Seven schools took part in the Competition and overall, we came a very close 2nd place.

  • Ambition British Schools Alpine Championships 2017

    A massive Congratulations goes to Emilia and Adam. As a St John Fisher team they both won the GS (giant Slalom) and slalom races, in the under 12 mixed Ambition British Schools Alpine Championships over the Easter holidays, winning a silver cup for each race. 

    Last weekend they also competed in a series of Club National Races where they came 3rd. Well done Emilia and Adam.

  • 50 Things to Do Before I am 11 3/4

    The National Trust have setup a campaign of setting a number of challenges for children to complete before they reach 11 3/4 years old. The school would encourage all children to try the activities to learn and gain new skills.

  • Swimming Gala

    Well done to Harvey Wardell, Harry Bergin, Dylan Mitchell, Jacob Eaborn, Annabelle Bennett, Emilia Orzel, Sara Ingram and Chloe Preedy who all participated in the Swimming Gala yesterday.


    They competed in several individual and relay races. Harry came 1st in the breaststroke race and Annabelle came 1st in the butterfly race. Six schools took part so with our combined scores, overall the school came 2nd, well done!
