Today is 'No Screen Day' to support Children's Mental Health week.
Please find a short explanation for each lesson below. We would still like parents to email work in for today but this however may be photos of the children completing their tasks rather than a written worksheet.
Literacy - Thinking about our text 'Letters from the Lighthouse'. Pretend that you are an evacuee and are packing for your trip. Think about what you would need to take with you. Write a list. Now try writing a poem as an evacuee describing your journey. Maybe even create your own evacuee name tag. I have attached one for you as an example.
Numeracy - Our topic for next week will be measurements. Have a go at making or baking something that involves units of measurement. I have attached a recipe for you to try if you would like to.
Art - Think about the picture of the flower we have been drawing so far. Go outside and pick a flower/piece of nature and draw it in detail. Think about your shading.
Spellings - I have attached spellings as usual but these should be practised away from the screen.
