At St John Fisher we offer our children an exciting and faith filled RE curriculum that is central to every aspect of school life. Through our provision we ensure that children leave our school religiously literate and engaged in the world and people around them, filled with knowledge, understanding and skills so that they can reflect spiritually, think ethically and theologically, and who are aware of the demands of religious commitment in everyday life.

We aim to engage and develop every child’s faith and religious understanding through prayer life, vocational awareness, Religious Education lessons, charitable works and Sacramental preparation.  We work with families and the Parish to make sure children grow in God’s love are prepared to live life to the fullest and have an astute understanding of their personal and social responsibility and British Values as faith filled and giving citizens of tomorrow.

Our RE curriculum is taken from the Diocesan Strategy for RE - Learning and Growing as the People of God. The overview shows how each unit fits into the teaching timetable for the year.
