Task:
In this lesson, children will measure using mixed units for the first time. They will accurately measure and record length using a combination of metres and centimetres. Children often do not measure from the ‘0’ point of a ruler and instead measure from the end of a ruler. To support ask: Where should you actually start measuring from? Where is ‘0’?
