Today we will be analysing The Prologue of St. John's Gospel.

Task: 

  1. Highlight the words and phrases that speak about Christ. 
  2. What do you think is the most important image of Christ that is presented in the passage? 
  3. Why do you think he is described as ‘The Word of God’? 
  4. Which words in the passage indicate the birth of Christ? 

Challenge – In the Prologue, we discover Christ has always been in existence. Think about The Creed, the prayer we say in Mass. Which words stand out as being important?
