Task:
In this lesson, children will measure accurately, using millimetres and centimetres. They will use a ruler accurately to measure di? erent objects. When using a ruler, some children may begin measuring from the start of the ruler and not from ‘0’ on the scale. To support ask: Where can you see ‘0’ on the ruler? Where should you begin measuring from? Why?
