Hello Year 3!
In this lesson, children will compare and order measurements given in millimetres, centimetres and metres. Children may ignore the unit of measurement and compare lengths based on the size of the numbers. To support ask: Are all of the lengths in the same unit of measurement? Can you use your understanding of equivalence and convert so that all lengths do use the same unit of measurement ? Children may also make calculation errors when converting lengths to a common unit of measurement. To support ask: Does your conversion look accurate? What lengths are equivalent to each other?
