World Book Day 2023

St John Fisher celebrated our love of reading for World Book Day! We thought about how stories were originally shared - through talk - and decided to listen to a story around the campfire with a hot chocolate. We also shared our favourite books with each other and spoke about why we recommend others to read them. Members of Birmingham City Football Academy came to read to the children in the afternoon and share their love of reading with us too! Finally, the children visited the Book Swap Shop and came away with a new story to dive in to.
